1. Log in to My Panel (my.hoststar.ch).
2. Click on the menu item "Domain" and then on "Settings."
3. Expand the view for the desired domain where you want to make changes to the DNS zone. Click on the "arrow icon" and then on the "Edit DNS" button.
4. The stored DNS entries will be displayed.
- If you want to add a new DNS entry, click on the "Add DNS entry" button.
- If you want to edit an existing DNS entry, click on the "pencil icon" next to the respective entry.
- If you want to delete an existing DNS entry, click on the "X icon" next to the respective entry.
5. When creating or editing DNS entries, you can choose between different types.
Here is a list of the available types with a description:
A-Record
Links a domain to a specific IP address.
These data must be entered: Link domain with saldia
After making changes or creating a DNS entry, click on "Save."
Please note the defined Time To Live (TTL) until the respective DNS entry is updated worldwide.
IMPORTANT: If there is still an AAAA record in your zone, make sure to delete it.
